Train, Car Accidents Remain Safety Issue

No one wins when a driver tries to beat a train to a railroad crossing. The train certainly can’t swerve, or stop in time, to prevent a catastrophe. If a train conductor spots a car stopped on the tracks, it’s already too late to prevent a collision.
