We All Scream For Ice Cream Festivals

Ice cream is a welcome treat any time of the year, but it gets the most attention in summer. Something about the long, hot days and lingering nights sets the mood for a frosty cone.

“Ice cream appeals to pretty much every age and background. It can take us back to our childhood or simply create a few minutes of distraction during a stressful day” said Jess Milbourn, owner of Devil May Care Ice Cream in West Sacramento, California. “Some of my fondest childhood memories was using an old hand-crank ice cream maker with my grandparents in the backyard."

FroYo Run (August 19) The FroYo run happens in a variety of cities across America this summer. Some dates remain unannounced. The San Jose, California FroYo run takes place in August and rewards participants of the 5k or 10k run with frozen yogurt.
