Slow-Speed Chase Ties Up Rush Hour in Arizona
Authorities tazed and arrested a man wanted on a warrant after a slow-speed chase Monday afternoon in Mesa, Ariz.
Allen K. Bartoli, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated DUI, resisting arrest, felony flight, and drug possession, according to Arizona's Department of Public Safety.
Patrol officers encountered Bartoli around 4 p.m. on Interstate 10 near 67th Avenue. The suspect didn't pull over and drove though Tempe and into Mesa in the late-model hatchback. The one-hour, 10-minute pursuit saw the suspect driving a hatchback on bare rims before police tazed and taken into custody.
Bartoli's outstanding warrant hasn't been disclosed publicly. Law enforcement is only disclosing that he's wanted in nearby Pinal County.
