A standard 2.7-liter dual overhead camshaft four-cylinder produces 159 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. The performance engine is a 4-liter dual overhead camshaft V6 model that delivers 236 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque.The four-cylinder engine can be teamed with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission, while the V6 is mated with either a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission.Comfort and ConvenienceThe 2015 Tacoma interior is laid out in a practical way that is comfortable and safe for all occupants. Sound absorption materials, cup holders that can hold extra-large cups and durable interior fabrics mean the truck is ready for work or play.Toyota’s Entune multimedia infotainment center uses a 6.1-inch touchscreen display that doubles as a screen for the rear-view camera. The system allows drivers to seamlessly integrate their smartphones for hands-free calling, text messaging, mobile app integration and audio streaming.The system is also an AM/FM radio and CD player with MP3/WMA audio playback capability. The upgraded system includes compatibility with HD Radio and SiriusXM Radio with a seven-speaker output.Available turn-by-turn navigation is a feature that also integrates with the multimedia system.SafetyToyota’s Star Safety System is standard on all its vehicles, and in the Tacoma, that translates to one of the safest pickups on the road.
