Severe Driving

Rushing along hot desert roads or climbing steep mountain passes in winter are far from the only instances of severe driving. Here are a few common indicators of severe driving:

  • Daily stop-and-go driving
  • Driving in temperatures more than 90 degrees or less than 40 degrees.
  • The majority of your vehicle trips last fewer than 10 minutes.
  • Towing a boat or trailer.
  • Starting your car several times a day after the engine has cooled.
